Getting ready for a busy year

Hi, it's the start of a new year and I am busy getting ready for shows and exhibitions coming up soon. My next major event is Ceramic Art London which is taking place during 26th-28th Feb at the Royal College of Art. I can thoroughly recommend visiting this show because it's an excellent opportunity to meet leading ceramicists from all over the world and buy their work. I really enjoy exhibiting at this show because the visitors are so enthusiastic and passionate about ceramics. There are also various lectures and demonstrations taking place, so all in all - it's well worth a visit.
Hope to see you there!

Husk Set
Husk Set: Pair of Vinigerette Jugs, Pickle Pot & Mustart Pot with Gold Tipped SpoonThe colour palette for the Husk condiment set was inspired by an 18th century Copeland plate in the Potteries Museum. The subtle glazes depict the individual colours of the hand painted brush work and the elegant, playful forms invite use.
Louisa's New Work - Oriole Supper Set

This is my latest Piece intitled 'Oriole'.
Oriole explores the role of tableware in contemporary dining. The form is influenced by an 18th century supper set. These sets did not prescribe a specific function, instead encouraging sharing and relaxed eating. Oriole celebrates these values. The rich colourful glazes are integral to the piece. The elevated oval dishes reflect against the matt surface of the platter and central bowl, describing the ‘Golden Oriole’ pattern from where it derived.
